The Trucker’s Voice has received many emails and phone calls on the Truck News story regarding Mr. Bradley, president of the OTA wanting the truckers to have speed limiters put on all trucks that travel on Ontario’s highways.

Once again the OTA and their affiliates are leading our government and the general public to believe that O/O’s and drivers are to blame for all the industry’s problems. The article states that there needs to be a level playing field for carriers. “ Some carriers would create a value proposition based on their ability to do things that other carriers would think its unsafe to do. "

So,
because carriers need a level playing field all truck in Ont.
need to have speed limiters

This is the industry’s typical way to problem solving!

If the problem is the carriers then fix the carriers

What about lobbying for tougher regulations to govern Load Brokers!
Or
What about making it so O/O’s and drivers don’t have to meet unrealistic time schedules to make a living

Maybe the OTA’s members should:

If Mr. Bradley would encourage his members to do the RIGHT thing,
THERE WOULD BE NO REASON TO SPEED!!!!

By the way, where were the comments from the Drivers?

I guess driver content doesn’t matter!

Maybe the Truck News should change its name to

“The OTA’s News” or “Carrier News”

Just letting you know what the pulse out there
